When Veggies Attack!
I am going to make a bold statement...I HATE VEGETABLES! There are very few vegetables that I actually enjoy eating and those I can count on one hand. They all seem to taste either bitter or like dirt...neither of those tastes I enjoy. This is from a dream I had where I was the only human left in a world overrun with killer vegetables. Actually, I am going to categorize that as a full fledged nightmare. Vegetables are evil and must die. Viva la Resistance!

Gift of the Vagi
This was my boyfriend and I's 2016 Christmas card. Every year I design a Christmas card to send out to all our friends & family and they all seem to have a religious theme. Not being at all religious, this is a bit of a mystery. I think I like to poke fun of religion because they often take themselves way to seriously. I am not sure how my religious friends enjoy receiving our cards, but honestly, I don't really ask. AMEN

Making Horcruxes At Work
I have a very stressful job because I work with some very..."intense" personalities. One particular personality causes me to think of things like this during the day while he/she is giving me my daily dressing down for no particular reason. This has caused me to come to the realization that, if there was such a thing as Harry Potter type magic (because it is the best portrayal of magic ever) I would for sure be a dark wizard because I wouldn't be able to restrain myself from using the unforgivable curses. Not because I am bad, but because they are effective and convenient.

Good Bye, Beatrix
This is a tribute to my dog and companion, Beatrix, who passed away at the end of 2016. She crossed over the rainbow bridge into another realm...I am assuming Asgard, because how many rainbow bridges can there possibly be in the universe?! She is probably the faithful companion of Thor or Loki. I am sure it is Loki, because she was one mischievous bitch. HA!
I miss you Beatrix. I think about you everyday.

The Four Cats of the Catpocalypse
BEWARE, THE END IT NIGH and their coming shall unleash a great apocalypse upon your household. Your plants will suffer, your food will be eaten, your dogs will be set upon and your favorite shoes will be ruined. They know no mercy in their relentless pursuit of chaos. Beware!
This is a digital reworking of a previous concept I did in color pencil. I added a background as well to give it a more "apocalyptic" feel.

Suicide Bear
Sometimes I am just sick in the head when an idea for a drawing comes to me, but at the same time they can turn out to be poignant and have a strong social message . I have no idea why or what made me think of this image, but it came fully formed one night when I was falling asleep. I apparently mumbled SUICIDE BEAR before I fell asleep. Luckily my boyfriend asked me the next morning what that meant and I was fortunate enough to remember this image.

Raining C**ts and Dogs
Sometimes, I can't stop my brain from thinking up some really....odd images, to say it in the kindest way. There are large portions of my day where I am doing one thing and while that is happening, my brain decides to go on a daydream trip and images like this pop into my head. Why am I cursed with the sight?! Ok, that last part was probably because I have been binge watching "Angel" lately. This piece has another title, but I normally keep it low key as it involves a certain emotionally taxing personality in my life.

Bunny Borscht
I have this thing about drawing animals as food. That being said, I present to you Bunny Borscht for your consumption. I realized after its completion that this sort of looks like bunny blood soup, but I promise you the intention was borscht...really, it was. MMM good.

Toilet Paper Kittens
This picture was actually inspired by my boyfriend, Ted Morris', comedy. He has a joke about cutting out the toilet paper middleman and using kittens instead to be eco-friendly and they are self cleaning. Granted, I am not the comedian in the family, so the joke is much funnier when he does it.

If you are interested in checking out the comedy stylings of Ted Morris, check out the below link to a video and many more from this fantastic comedian.

Beware the Tooth Fairy
I thought of this and drew it during my first ever Comic Con in Toronto. I was right out of school, but couldn't quite get it right until I got into doing digital work, then it just turned into exactly what I wanted. This is another fairy tale the I find somewhat disturbing. A fairy comes into your room at night and takes any teeth that have fallen out and replaces it with money or gifts. I'm sorry, but what is stopping her from just ripping the teeth out of people's heads rather than waiting for them to fall out. Seems like a much more profitable business model.

The Sandman
This is another idea I re-imagined. I love the idea of the twisted side of fairy tales and myths. The idea of someone sprinkling sand into my eyes to get to sleep doesn't really sound like something that would actually make me go to sleep. Seems like a recipe for feeling like I had sand kicked in my face by a sleep bully.

Freddy & Jason on a Playdate
This is a re-imagining of a concept I did a long time ago. I decided it needed a background and a fresh set of colors and line work. The result is more what I was looking for when I did the first drawing of it. I always thought Jason & Freddie would be good pals in real life because they have so many things they love in common: co-eds, sharp objects, murder. Soulmates.

Happy Hannukah
Santa's not always welcome in every household during the Christmas season. There are some boys and girls that find him to be just a burglar and set traps accordingly for his capture and subsequent incarceration for breaking and entering. Happy Hannukah!

Batman & Ramen
Nothing Batman likes better than a warm bowl of Ramen. RAMEN...not Robin, get your mind out of the gutter. If you have been following my art blog, you know that I have a big love of word play and this is one that I have always wanted to do. I present to you..."Batman & Ramen"!

The Office Dementor
I have been planning a series of pictures depicting various pop culture "monsters" representing personalities in office work environments. I hope you enjoy "The Office Dementor". This is the person in an office that sucks all the joy and fun out of the office. They are like a dark cloud that settles over an office when they come into work. Please report all episodes of them trying to kiss you to HR.

Supernatural Goodness
I love the show Supernatural, especially that hot little number, Dean Winchester. They are always getting into trouble, but as brothers, always tend to work things out...even if there is a lot of passive aggressive bullshit they heap on each other. Love live Dean!

Superman vs. Batman
The Pillow Fights continue with Superman dueling Batman in the Batcave. This is a pillow fight I would actually like to watch. LOL

Green Lantern vs. Star Sapphire
Here is another in my Pillow Fight series. We have Green Lantern and Star Sapphire dueling it out in Space Sector 2814 and it looks like Hal Jordan is getting his ass handed to him.

Wonder Woman vs Steve Trevor
This is the second picture in my "Pillow Fight" series. I love the relationship between Steve Trevor and Wonder Woman...it has always been my favorite love affair in comics.

Pillow Fight - Batman, Joker & Mr. Freeze
When I was in art school, I had an idea to do pop culture characters involved in pillow fights. It has always been in the back of my mind, but was never able to get them looking how I wanted. Now, I am revisiting this notion and here is the first of many to come. Most will be comic book characters at first, because I love comics, but eventually I want to include characters from across pop culture.
