Artwork for Sale!

Hello Peeps,

So I just wanted to get some info up on here about prints and cards I have available to buy.  All the colored artwork under the headings "Color Pencil" and "Markers" are available in prints and greeting cards.  Prices are as follows (does not include shipping):

Color Pencil:
      11x14" Print - $20
      8.5x11" Print - $10

Markers:
      8.5x11" Print - $10

Cards:  1-4 cards @ $5/card, 5-9 cards @ $4/card and 10+ cards @ $3/card.  All cards include envelopes.

I also do commission work, so if interested in getting a unique drawing just for you or a friend, email me and can discuss pricing.  Pricing usually based on number of characters in the picture and if it is to be inked and/or colored.

I will also be getting a select number of t-shirts made up for sale.  When they are done getting printed, I will post which designs are available and the cost.  Currently I am sourcing a good place in Toronto to get them printed.

If you are interested in purchasing any of the above items, just email me at jeff_mason@rogers.com.

Cheers

Jeff

I'm Now Going to be on TV!

So this week I had a great thing happen...I got interviewed for a TV show highlighting my art.  Innerspace, on the Space Network, did an interview with me and my good friend Anthony Haley (https://www.facebook.com/doodlesundertheinfluence) about our artwork, us working together and selling our art at Comic Cons.  The interview was done by Morgan Hoffman, who was a treat to work with and I had the best time chatting with her and basically being geeks.  I want to give a big thank you to the people at Space for taking an interest in both Anthony and I's artwork., it really makes me feel like maybe I am on the right track.  I will post more details about the air date.

Fringe Science - July 19, 2013

So my boyfriend and I have finally gotten into watching Fringe (I know we are only years behind). The whole show keeps talking about "fringe science" and this image is all I can think about when they say that.

Happy 4th of July...American Style

I know this should have gone out to all my fellow Americans yesterday in celebration of July 4th, but got busy and so it had to be today. :) Happy Belated 4th of July Americans!

Daily Sketch April 10 - Bad Gun...Bad!

I decided that since next week is Gun Control Week (or so I have been informed), I would do a sketch of what I thought of when I heard "gun control". Silly guns, so poorly trained!

Daily Sketch Apr 3 - My Ire Knows No Bounds

So I was watching Superman III this weekend, not because I wanted to, but because once I start watching a movie (bad or good) I can't stop watching...unless it has Seth Rogen or John Travolta in it. So whatever station they were playing the movie on, had the same commercial, for Rosetta Stone Language Software, on every commercial break. There was one girl giving testimonials and she just keeps using stupid words in in appropriate places, clearly to sound smarter...which drove me slightly insane for the length of the movie. Oh the things that get me riled up sometimes.

Daily Sketch Mar 28 - Flashdance

I decided everyone needed a little more Flashdance for their long Easter weekend. I credit the idea for this to my friend and ComicCon buddy, Anthony Haley. I don't recall how we got on the subject of Flashdance, but I am sure it had to do with someone at the last con.

I'm a maniac, maniac on the floor...and I'm dancing like I've never danced before!

Daily Sketch Mar 27 - Mortal Enemies

For the season premier of Dr Who this Saturday, here is my tribute to a truly great show.  This is the Doctor fighting the Dogleks...the Daleks' pet.

Daily Sketch Mar 21 - Oh Christ.

So I decided to get all churchy and political-ish with my daily sketch. Enjoy!

Daily Sketch Mar 19 - Febreze Crosses the Line

The current Febreze commercials irritate me a bit for two reasons:
1. How dare you put people in filth just to sell your product. Gross!
2. I don't believe for one second that Frebreze can eliminate rotting smells, garbage, etc, to the point people think they are smelling a summer breeze. It barely smells good itself.
With that said, I believe the only logical course these ads will take is that people are going to locked up with rotting corpses and Febreze pumped inside.

Daily Sketch Mar 15 - Asstronaut

For Friday I decided to give everyone a little adventure scene. This is my asstronaut getting up close and personal with a full moon. Booyah!

Daily Sketch Mar 14 - Why Are You Still Talking?!

My boyfriend Ted Morris and I own a 3-legged dog and when we take her for a walk, it is accompanied by lots of stares, ooh & aahs and chatting to some interesting people. Unfortunately, it is also accompanied, sometimes, by having to talk to stupid people. This is a conversation Ted (who is a veterinarian) had with a Russian fellow on the street one day. Ted doesn’t tolerate ignorance for very long as you can see. God I love that man!

Daily Sketch Mar 13 - It Burns!!!!

When I was on the cruise, my cruise buddy Richard Ryder and I were talking about this Elmer's glue like sunscreen I was using and how it prevented me from sweating in the Caribbean heat, almost making me pass out on one of the islands. I felt like I was being burned at the stake everytime I used it...like Joan of Arc. On another note, when someone at the most recent Comic Con saw this, I was told that the flag and sword were not period specific to Joan of Arc. I told that person I didn't care and to get a life that didn't involve talking to me. HAHA

Daily Sketch Mar 12 - Adventure Time

Today is all about Adventure Time with Finn and Jake. Both my con buddy Anthony Haley and I did Adventure Time Sketches while we were sitting talking to the peeps.

Daily Sketch Mar 11 - Warming Up

This weekend I was at the Toronto ComicCon with my friend and con partner Anthony TheDemon Haley. There were lots of people watching, as well as, talking to some really great people and some really awkward people. All of it was lots of fun and I got tons of drawing done. The daily sketches this week will all be stuff I drew at the con to keep myself busy and sane.

This is just a warmup sketch of me warming up. Jazzercise anyone?!

Daily Sketch Mar 5 - The Glitter Party

Everyday on the cruise there was a pre-dinner dance and then a dance after dinner (the gays love their dancing). One of the dances was the "Glitter Party" and the name describes it all. I ended up in a glittery pair of underwear and not much else thanks to the group I met and hung out with the whole time. Also, since this party happened late in the cruise, there were all kinds of shenanigans on the dance floor. Good times.

Daily Sketch Mar 4 - Is it the Ship or Me?

Daily Sketches will finally be those I drew while on the cruise or of things I saw on the cruise (some of which I can't unsee). Today's is about a fact I didn't know about until I had been on a huge ship. Walking around on a ship in the open ocean is a lot like being drunk all the time. Although, I have to say, I was drunk most of the time so maybe it was me and not the ship. I'm blaming the ship.

Daily Sketch Feb 27 - It Gets Better

Pretty much the only think I can say about this is...What the hell is wrong with me?!  HAHA.  What drives my brain to come up with this to draw?

Daily Sketch Feb 21 - Muscle in the Mirror

I have recently become obsessed with getting fit and buff. It is something I have wanted to do for a long time, but for some reason, now has become the time. Maybe it is my approaching 40th birthday. Whatever it is, in a year I want to look in the mirror and see hottness!

Daily Sketch Feb 6 - Scuba Diving Seems Sketchy

I have to apologize for the spotty daily sketches, but have been pretty busy lately getting ready for a vacation.  On Saturday I am headed on my first cruise (a gay cruise nontheless) with my friend Richard Ryder, who will be preforming on the ship. I really want to go snorkeling, but not sure about scuba diving. This is what I imagine happens all the time to scuba divers...those angler fish are getting sneakier everyday people, watch out!

p.s.  I should have lots to post when I get back from the cruise.  I am sure there will be tons of things to draw!!!

Daily Sketch Jan 29 - Gay Fat

A couple days ago I was told I was going to be going on a suprise cruise to the Southern Caribbean. Not just any cruise, but a gay cruise. Seriously, I am not ready for a gay cruise…from the pictures on the website, I’ll be considered gay fat. So now it is all salad & veggies all the time trying to get any ounce of fat I may have on me to go away. I think my metabolism is getting lazier as I get older. HAHA.

Daily Sketch Jan 25 - ParaNorman

I was watching ParaNorman again last night. It has become one of my favorite movies…I just love it. The time and effort it takes to do that kind of animation is incredible!!! So here is a ParaNorman sketch for everyone.

Daily(ish) Sketch Jan 24 - Holy West Side Story

I am just going to call today's sketch, "Holy West Side Story". Why? Why not.

Daily Sketch Jan 21 - Zombie Apocalypse

If there is ever a zombie apocalypse, I think that Ted Morris and I will definitely survive.  Why you ask?  He is a vet, so has medical training and I am American, so I know how to shoot guns.  We are set!

Daily Sketch Jan 17 - Ted's TTC Mob

Today's sketch is an example of how my boyfriend is able to instigate a mob on the TTC in only a matter of seconds. It could potentially be his hidden superpower. Regardless, at least it provides street theater for me to watch while I am riding the TTC.

Daily Sketch Jan 11 - Happy Birthday Anthony!

This was a tribute for my friend Anthony's birthday.  I couldn't afford a real stripper jumping out of a cake...a cake that big is expensive!
