Here comes Link to rescue his princess.  Is that how this game goes?  I am not sure since I have never played it, but I know it was a super popular game, it is just that I never got to own a Nintendo system when I was a youth.  I have always loved the designs of the game so thought it would be fun to do. Fresh Bear Claws...MMMMM!

I have to give props to my boyfriend for giving me the idea for this picture. This is what he thinks of when he sees those delicious fresh pastries in the donut shop display case. He wanted a drawing of what he imagines and here is what I came up with. Maybe you will think twice about where delicious honey glazed bearclaws come from next time you order one.

I realized I have not put up a bunch of pictures I did for the last FanExpo in Toronto. I did a flurry of work trying to get enough items to sell and just never got them up here on the site. I hope you all enjoy.

I recently started watching Game of Thrones and just can't get enough of the show. I haven't read the books which I hear are amazing, but I just don't have the time to invest at the moment. One of the characters I love is Jon Snow. Both sexy and brooding...not so much on the brooding, but hey, no one is perfect.

I can figure out the devilled egg and the priest, but why a cat. It seems to be a running theme in my art lately…hmm, but I can’t even own a cat. It’s all so fraught with meaning!

I have always had a real love for Greek mythology, so I started to place my cats as mythological figures.  This first one is of the siren sisters who sang many a salty dawg to the bottom of the sea. Plug your ears as they sing their sweet melody of love and longing or you could be their next victim.  (If you are wondering what they are singing…think “Ghost”.)

This was the image for my Christmas card this year.  Now, I am not a religious person, but the thought of Christ as a cat made me laugh.  Why a cat?  Well since "Bunny Sushi", I have slowly migrated to drawing cats in strange situations (I find cats very entertaining and let's face it, easy to draw).  I decided to do something religious oriented because, although like I said before...not religious, but I do like to read and know about all different religions and I think stained glass windows are very cool.  With Kitty Christ, I wanted to do something with a stained glass look and include some funny elements by making plays on Christ's miracles.  All the pictures in the green circle of the "window" are his many miracles...some slightly modified to better fit with a cat based theme (water to milk, loaves and fishes, raising the dead, walking on water...because we all know how much cat's hate water HAHA).  Anyway, enjoy and if you are looking for a print of this, see below.  Thank you.

Bunny Sushi

I came up with the idea for this picture very randomly when I was drawing my sushi lunch at work one day.  I started drawing different animals as sushi, but ended with rabbits because they turned out so cute.  I ended up selling prints at the Toronto 2011 FanExpo (Comic Con) and it quickly became my most popular print, as well as, the only print to sell (my other prints were superheroes and everyone does superheroes at a Comic Con).  I was very pleased with the outcome and its popularity with everyone that saw it at the convention...it either disturbed people or made them laugh really hard.
