Zelda - Link the Cat

Here comes Link to rescue his princess.  Is that how this game goes?  I am not sure since I have never played it, but I know it was a super popular game, it is just that I never got to own a Nintendo system when I was a youth.  I have always loved the designs of the game so thought it would be fun to do.
